It takes science to create a good audio stand. It's an "Art" to make a them great.
"So much furniture today is so awfully cold. It's
meaningless really. I feel strongly that one of the most important
things about a piece of furniture, is the soul the woodworker invested
in it." Sam Maloof: 1916-2009
HHG Stands takes pride in unparalleled craftsmanship and attention to detail in the design and the quality of materials used. Each stand is custom made to the customer's specifications, using solid hardwoods. Our design eliminates unwanted vibration, and truly isolates your components.
Give us your specifications and we will design a stand for your system.
My Philosophy to Design:
"I
began HHG Stands because my own quest for quality, yet attractive,
audio furniture was not met. I found many of the "quality" component
stands poorly designed, unattractive, and many are made from cheap materials. I researched isolation and began
making my own furniture.
I base all of my designs on what works, what is attractive and above all what has a high "WAF" Wife Approval Factor.
HHG stands are for those who demand quality and beauty. My stands are made from quality hardwoods and beautiful granite to meet your personal specifications.
Each stand is unique and handmade with care.
I hope you will enjoy the quality and handcrafted elegance of an HHG Stand."

Why choose an HHG Stand?
All HHG Stands are handcrafted with these 3 principles in mind:
1 Mass: Nothing is more affective isolating acoustical energy than mass.
2. Resistance to resonance. All materials have a resonant frequency. Some materials are easier than
others to excite. Metals, soft woods, and glass are poor choices, most
materials with uniformity vibrate easily. Hardwoods, granite, and MDF
are resistant to resonance, all have been proven to work exceptionally
well.
3 Form and function: Cinder blocks and 2x12’s will hold up even the most expensive gear. Your
gear deserves better, you deserve better, and we can’t forget the “WAF”
(the Wife Acceptance Factor). If it’s ugly it’s not going to sit in
the middle of your listening room.
