Hi, I saw your feedback about the audio stands from ammisco. Can you tell
me how you like yours?  What were you using before you got it?  Thanks,
Tom

Tom,
I absolutely love my stand.  It's made of birds-eye maple, which matches
my speakers, and Walnut, which matches my cabinets.  The insert is made
of tan granite with multi-colored brown flecks that compliment the
colors in my carpet.  The granite sits on a bunch of silicon-like balls
providing a nice vibration isolation function, and the brass points are about
an inch and a half long so that they can go through the carpet and into the
wooden floor.  Andy made me an especially big one so I can put both of my
Jolida JD3000's on it; it's about 24"x18"; pretty huge actually for no extra
charge.  I was using a nice enough stand that I bought used made of one big
piece of stained maple, with metal legs and rubber feet, that sat on a carpet.
The new stand has a direct impact on my system's sound that the other did not;
details are clearer, and bass is better defined.  The darn thing is so
beautifully made that I really do have a pride of ownership thing going,
that I can't say enough about.  Andy let me customize every aspect of it
by sending pictures via e-mail of the wood, granite, and points as he
went along making it, which took about a month because he was on
vacation for a week or so.  Great product, great seller.  I can't say
enough positively.   Good luck.
